The European Geosciences Union General Assembly 2014 will bring together geoscientists from all over the world to one meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth, planetary and space sciences. The EGU aims to provide a forum where scientists, especially early career researchers, can present their work and discuss their ideas with experts in all fields of geosciences. For the first time, in 2014, the EGU General Assembly will have a theme!
Global and continental scale risk assessment for natural hazards: methods and practice (EGU session NH9.13)
This may be an interesting session during the EGU, organised by the Institute for Environmental Studies (VU University Amsterdam), World Bank GFDRR, Deltares, and the University of Reading. A description of the session can be found here.
